Wedding of Duke Philipp of Oldenburg and Countess Fiona Khuen-Lützow

Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives gathered from around Germany to celebrate the Wedding of Duke Philipp of Oldenburg and Countess Fiona Khuen-Lützow in Rastede in Oldenburg on August 16th, which was followed by a White Tie and Tiara Ball at Schloss Rastede.

Duke Philipp of Oldenburg, second son of the Duke of Oldenburg, and Countess Caroline von Rantzau, married Countess Fiona Khuen-Lützow,  daughter of Count Conradin Khuen von Belasi-Lützow and Martina von Veyder-Malberg, at St. Ulrich’s Church in Rastede near Oldenburg, which was followed by a Reception and a Ball held at Schloss Rastede, a secondary residence of the Dukes of Oldenburg.

The wedding service began at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the church, which had been festively decorated especially for the occasion. After just under an hour, the newlyweds walked out of the church onto the monument square and received their first congratulations. The civil ceremony had already taken place in the palace the day before.

Philipp von Oldenburg, 33, lives with Fiona Khuen-Lützow (29) in Braunschweig. He is Managing Director of InPro Electric in Wolfsburg, and his wife is a manager at Deloitte Sustainability & Climate GmbH in Berlin. The couple became engaged in March of this year. Fiona Khuen-Lützow is the youngest daughter of Conradin Khuen-Lützow and Martina von Veyder-Malberg and hails from Munich.

Countess Fiona wore the same Diamond Loop Tiara worn by her sister-in-law, Duchess Katharina of Oldenburg, for her Wedding to Count Clemens Moy de Sans last year.

Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives included Hereditary Prince Louis and Hereditary Princess Helene of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg and Baron and Baroness Clemens von Elverfeldt among others.
