Thanks, Saturn Retrograde: Life’s about to get easier for these three star signs

It’s Saturn Retrograde season after Saturn officially left Aries on September 1, 2025, moving back into Pisces, where it’ll hang around until February 14, 2026. Astrologers say this is one of the most seismic astrological shifts of the year, bringing about major positive vibes for three key star signs — and some transformational life changes for the rest of the zodiac, too.

Everything from relationships, careers and finances are set to be impacted this September, with lessons to be learnt along the way for most signs, channeling very seasonal ‘back to school’ energy.

“Saturn shifting out of Aries on September 1, 2025 is one of the most significant astrological changes of the year”, says Sunaree Ko, tarot reader and astrologer.

“Whenever Saturn changes signs, it alters the rhythm of discipline, growth, and responsibility for all of us — but for fire signs, the impact is especially noticeable. Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo will each feel the benefits differently, but all three can expect a loosening of restrictions and a renewed sense of purpose,” she says.

Here’s what’s in store for the three star signs this Saturn Retrograde, according to Sunaree:

Aries

Aries has carried Saturn’s weight most directly. For the past two years, Saturn in Aries has tested their resilience, bringing delays, lessons in patience, and at times a frustrating sense that progress was slower than it should be. Now that Saturn is moving on, Aries will feel lighter. Momentum returns to personal goals, creative projects, and even relationships. It’s as though they’ve graduated from a tough school and can finally put their learning into practice. Aries natives may also see doors opening in career or finance, where blocks or obstacles previously stood in the way.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius thrives on expansion and vision. Saturn’s shift helps them turn ideas into tangible plans without the usual resistance. They may find long-term projects, study opportunities, or travel ambitions easier to put into motion. There’s also a sense of relief around commitments: Sagittarians often resist feeling tied down, but this change lets them shape responsibilities on their own terms. The result is clarity—knowing what they want and having the cosmic green light to pursue it.

Leo

Leos are set to rediscover their confidence. Saturn’s movement removes some of the self-doubt that’s crept in over the past couple of years. They’re more willing to step up, lead, and put themselves centre stage again. This could translate into career progression, recognition, or simply feeling more vibrant and inspired in their personal life. For Leos, it’s an invitation to pursue bold choices—whether that’s launching a new venture, moving home, or committing to a relationship—with less fear of being held back.

If you’re not part of the lucky trio, don’t fret — lucky fortunes beckon for some other signs, too. “Air signs like Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius will benefit indirectly”, says Sunaree. “The release of fire energy sparks creativity, fresh connections, and more opportunities for collaboration. Water and earth signs, especially Cancer and Capricorn, may feel a little unsettled. These grounded, practical signs might find the fiery, fast-paced energy disruptive, forcing them to adapt to shifting circumstances. However, this tension can also be productive, pushing them to grow in ways they might normally resist.”
