Jenna Ortega’s Emmys 2025 look proves jewellery can be an outfit

Well folks, she’s done it again. Jenna Ortega‘s Emmys 2025 is just incredible. Truly, she’s outdone herself with her look. Not to mention the rest of the carpet.

This time, the Wednesday star took her goth girl vibe in a very bejewelled direction, and, needless to say, everyone is obsessed.

Ortega’s ensemble, from the Givenchy by Sarah Burton fall/winter 2025 ready-to-wear collection, features an elaborate top piece of oversized gemstones and pearls strung together to create a kind of blouse fit for a particularly jewel-loving queen. Or perhaps a very flashy bit of chainmail. The gems do just enough to keep the top decent, with a few hanging pieces across her bellybutton.

And is it just us, or is this a reference to Isabella Rossellini’s iconic outfit as Lisle Von Rhuman in Death Becomes Her?

There’s more than a passing resemblance, and even the tones of Jenna’s gems match up to Rossellini’s equivalent. We’ll leave that up to you to decide, though.
