Royal Tiaras at the American State Banquet at Windsor Castle

We got to see several spectacular Royal and Noble Tiaras worn at last night’s State Banquet held by the British Royal Family for American President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at Windsor Castle, for their State Visit to the United Kingdom this week.

Members of British High Society joined the Royal Family as King Charles III and Queen Camilla held the State Banquet in honour of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle, following a Welcome Ceremony, a Luncheon and a Beating Retreat.

Like the last State Banquet held at Windsor a few months ago, Queen Camilla again wore the Belgian Sapphire Tiara, which she has worn four times now in the past three years.

The Sapphire Tiara was paired with the Greville Festoon Necklace, worn by Queen Camilla for the first time in its shorter version of three instead of five strands, as well as her Modern Diamond Earrings and the Queen Mother’s Cartier Bracelets.

A surprise was a glimpse of Queen Victoria’s historic Diamond Bar Brooch on the Sash of the Order of the Garter, paired with Queen Victoria’s Garter Star and the Royal Family Order of King Charles III.

Also like last time, the Princess of Wales wore Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, this time paired with the late Queen’s Antique Diamond Earrings.

In a lovely portrait released of the Prince and Princess, you can also spot the details of her Sash and Star of the Royal Victorian Order, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Princess Royal wore her Cartier Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara and Aquamarine Suite, with the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Cartier Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara has been temporarily retrieved from its current display in the Cartier Exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, which we just discussed on our podcast.

The Duchess of Gloucester wore the Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara and Diamond Earrings with two large Diamond Rivères with a Diamond Flower Pendant, a pair of Diamond Clip Brooches, two pearl and diamonds bracelets, and four slim diamond bracelets.

The Duchess’ Orders were the Sash and Star of the Order of the Garter, the Star of the Royal Victorian Order, the Royal Family Order of King Charles III, and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Lady Mayoress of the City of London wore her magnificent Pearl and Diamond Tiara, which we had the delight of seeing when we were invited to Mansion House by the Lady Mayoress a few weeks ago.

One of the Queen’s Companions, Baroness Chisholm of Owlpen wore a striking heirloom Diamond Tiara from the Barons Leconfield (her maternal family) which may originate from the Duchess of Cleveland.

Another of the Queen’s Companions, Jane von Westenholz, also wore a Diamond Tiara.

Lady Susan Hussey seems to have worn her usual Waldegrave Tiara.

This lady, who looks very familiar but I cannot seem to remember who now, wore a string Diamond Tiara which looks like one displayed at Sohtbey’s for the Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Viscountess Hood, wife of the King’s Lord-in-Waiting, wore her usual Diamond Fringe Tiara.

This Lady present is a regular at State Banquets and the Opening of Parliament, and while I do recall that one out our readers was able to ID her, I cannot remember who she is now.
