  • Kate Middleton and Prince William hosted Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa at Windsor Castle for a royal reunion
  • The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the couple’s 2023 wedding
  • Prince William and Prince Hussein also teamed up for a joint royal outing to an airbase

Kate Middleton and Prince William had a special reunion at Windsor Castle with another future king and queen.

Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan visited with the Prince and Princess of Wales on Wednesday, Oct. 15, as they spent a few days in the U.K. The two couples marked their get-together in Windsor with a photo featuring them all standing in a line and smiling.

Royal heirs Prince William, 43, and Crown Prince Hussein, 31, sported suits and ties for the meeting, while the women put their own spin on trousers. Princess Kate, 43, wore a khaki suit with a white blouse underneath, while Princess Rajwa, 31, wore a white button-down shirt with a strapless black vest and wide-leg pants.

William and Kate memorably attended the Jordanian royal couple’s wedding on June 1, 2023, sharing a quick chat after the ceremony and, after an outfit change for all, exchanging a few more words at the banquet later that night.

Royals from around the world took part in the wedding celebration, and their rare reunion was marked with an instantly iconic group photo released by the Royal Hashemite Court. The guest list included King Philippe of Belgium, Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg, Princess Beatrice, the King and Queen of Malaysia, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Hisakoa of Japan, the Sultan of Brunei, Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Queen Sofia and King Juan Carlos of Spain, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and many more.

The banquet called for tiaras and ballgowns, and Princess Kate sported a pink gown and Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara for the occasion.

Also on Oct. 15, William and Hussein stepped out for a joint engagement, visiting an airbase and seeing the British heir’s former flight squadron. The outing was of special interest to both men, as they are both trained helicopter pilots.
