Reform UK has added a British journalism titan and former GB News presenter to their ranks.
Colin Brazier has announced he will be joining Nigel Farage’s party, leaving the Conservatives.
Taking to social media, Colin wrote: “Today I, like many thousands of others in recent months, resigned as a member of the Conservative Party to join Reform.
“The UK may have only one electoral cycle left before our national identity becomes irrecoverable. Reform are imperfect, but they understand what’s at stake.”
Colin is one of Britain’s most recognisable journalists, having worked in broadcast media since 1997.
At Sky News, he worked in various roles, including presenter, Europe correspondent, political correspondent, covering the royal beat and reporting from Iraq, over the course of 24 years.
He was the first journalist to enter southern Lebanon with Israeli IDF forces in 2006 and conducted one of the final interviews given by the Muammar Gaddafi in 2009.
In 2016, he won an International Emmy Award and was nominated for a Bafta for his coverage of the European migrant crisis. In 2021,
Colin joined GB News and presented on the channel until 2022.
After GB News, Colin joined LBC in April 2023 where he presented an evening show before leaving the radio station to study farming at the Royal Agricultural University.

Outside of work, Colin enjoys cricket, supporting charities that help underprivileged.
Colin is a practising Catholic, having written articles for the Catholic Herald.
He is a father of six children and still writes The Brazier Angle for GB News Members, touching on international politics and culture issues.
