Monaco National Day

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco were joined by members of the extended Monegasque Princely Family for the annual National Day Celebrations in Monte Carlo on November 19th. National Day, also known as The Sovereign Prince’s Day, is held on the day of St. Rainier, the namesake saint of Prince Rainier III. Today is also the 20th Anniversary of the Enthronement of Prince Albert II.

In the morning, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were accompanied by Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, their children, and respective spouses for reviewing the Guard in the Courtyard of the Palais du Prince.

Later, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were joined by Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie for a special National Day Mass at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Monte Carlo.

Afterwards, the extended Princely Family were joined by the children, including Hereditary Prince Jacques (in the Order of Grimaldi) and Princess Gabriella, on the Balcony of the Palais du Prince to watch the military parade.

LP Staff Writers

Writers at Lord’s Press come from a range of professional backgrounds, including history, diplomacy, heraldry, and public administration. Many publish anonymously or under initials—a practice that reflects the publication’s long-standing emphasis on discretion and editorial objectivity. While they bring expertise in European nobility, protocol, and archival research, their role is not to opine, but to document. Their focus remains on accuracy, historical integrity, and the preservation of events and individuals whose significance might otherwise go unrecorded.
