Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Variety Performance

The Prince and Princess of Wales are attending the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 19th. The Performance is in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, which helps entertainers throughout the UK, who need help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times.

Upon arrival at the Royal Albert Hall, the Prince and Princess of Wales met officials and performers, including Stephen Fry, Jessie J, and Westlife before taking their seat in the Royal Box.

This will be the sixth time that Their Royal Highnesses have supported the Royal Variety Charity by attending this annual fundraiser, with previous visits in 2014, 2017, 2019, 2021 and most recently in 2023.

It has also been announced that chart-topping group Westlife will be performing at this year’s Royal Variety Performance, returning to the event following a number of previous appearances. Hosted by Jason Manford, this year’s Royal Variety Performance will feature a number of West End musicals performing at the Royal Albert Hall.

Blockbuster West End show Les Misérables will be celebrating its 40th anniversary with a 400-strong finale featuring Michael Ball and more; also major new West End musical Paddington The Musical will see the cast take to the stage of the Albert Hall, and maybe even its famous bear; Strictly’s Johannes Radebe will sing a number from Kinky Boots the Musical; and Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure will introduce the cast of West End show Just For One Day – The Live Aid Musical.

Other guest appearances will include Stephen Fry, who will appear as Lady Bracknell direct from his acclaimed performance in The Importance of Being Earnest at the Noël Coward Theatre in London. Other acts include Jessie J, Madness, Laufey, Harry Moulding, Tom Davis, Mick Miller, the cast of Dead Ringers, and America’s Got Talent winners Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane.
