There’s absolutely nothing wrong with embracing your skin’s natural texture – it’s part of what makes us human. But if you’re looking for a little extra confidence boost, Trinny London’s Miracle Blur might just be your new secret weapon. Often dubbed the “skin-smoothing miracle,” this tiny pot has earned quite the reputation – from waitlists of over 13,000 people, to now selling one every 25 seconds.

So what does Miracle Blur actually do? Well, it’s is a silicone-based balm that promises to smooth over the little things some of us like to soften – fine lines, pores, uneven texture, old acne marks (not that they ever need to be covered). The brand describes it as a kind of “skin filler” in a pot, which basically means it settles into those tiny creases so they look less noticeable.

It’s colourless, lightweight and easy to tap on wherever you need it, whether that’s around the lips or across areas where makeup tends to settle into lines. The result is a subtle blurring effect that helps everything look a bit more even and pulled together, without feeling like you’ve added an extra layer of makeup.

When it comes to the ingredients, the product is infused with skin-boosting collagen and elastin, to improve the appearance of fine lines and contains Vitamin E and C to help maintain the skin’s hydration barrier. So, not only does it make your skin look good, but it’s great for it too.

The good news that this multi-tasking product works for all skin types, and it’s super easy to apply. Oily skin types might prefer tapping it on after foundation for a more matte finish, while drier skin types may get on better using it before their base. Both ways work; it just depends on what your skin needs that day.

While Trinny loves using it as a primer under makeup, the skin smoothing formula also works to well applied to the lips to stop colour from feathering, and to give the lip line a cleaner, more defined look.

And it seems the reviews speak for themselves. One user hailed it as ‘magic in a pot’, saying: “A life-changing product! I highly recommend any woman who feels insecure about the texture of her skin and who craves smooth, flawless skin,” whilst another wrote: “Fantastic finish to my makeup routine. It absolutely blurs any lines and smooths the skin. Highly recommend as a finishing product. I used to use a matte powder, so this was quite a different finish to what I’m used to – and I’m really impressed.”

Miracle Blur is on sale now for £22.40, down from £28 – but be quick as the deal ends tonight.
