Nigel Farage is set to issue a five-word plea to Donald Trump as he faces down the “globalist agenda” at the World Economic Forum’s summit in Davos.
Mr Farage is scheduled to speak at the elite gathering directly after the President on Wednesday afternoon.
The Reform UK leader has long been a critic of the WEF, previously branding it a meeting of “people deciding our futures in Swiss ski resorts”.
But with his party surging in the polls, he has changed tack in order to make his case to the globe’s financial heavyweights.
Ahead of his debut official appearance in Switzerland, he told the Express he will say Britain “has been the most craven country on earth to the globalist agenda – that ends now”.
Mr Farage is set to add: “We will talk to you, we will work with you, we will negotiate with you, but we will not follow your agenda on climate change, DEI, or anything else. Gone, done.”
The Reform chief also vowed to make a plea to the US amid escalating tensions over the President’s proposed takeover of Greenland – after claiming credit for Mr Trump’s Chagos U-turn on Tuesday.
“Please, don’t threaten your friends,” he will say.
But Mr Farage has insisted his message will be “very praiseworthy of America removing enemies of the West like Maduro, the Iranian regime – love all that”.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves is already in the Alps, having told told the gathering that Britain is still “the best place in the world to invest”.
Ms Reeves said: “In a volatile world Britain stands out. This Government is making sure Britain is home to the stability, talent and capital that businesses and investors want and that drive greater growth.
“Some countries give you a platform, but Britain gives you momentum.”
Sir Keir Starmer, meanwhile, has confirmed he will not be in attendance for the gathering.
