I’m A Beauty Editor And These Are My Wellness Resolutions For 2026

New year, new me – right? When it comes to wellness, I’m trying at least!

After turning the big 30 in 2023, the durability of my youth seems to have taken a nosedive, prompting me to get serious about looking after myself holistically. Feeling now like I’m held together by supplements and a prayer, I’ve decided for 2026 that I want to get serious about wellness – as serious as I am about skincare and makeup (in other words, very serious).

So, what does that look like? To keep myself in check, I’m making these wellness resolutions as a public promise to take more care of everything from my gut and hearing health to my sleep and focus.

Keep reading to find out what they are and how you can also implement wellness into your everyday routine for 2026 and beyond.

Protect My Hearing

I almost live in my AirPods Max, and I’m rarely spotted without the overhead headphones (probably blasting Addison Rae). I’m also guilty of dismissing the audio warning that tells me I’ve been listening to music at a volume way too loud for my delicate ears. No surprises that Millennials and Gen Z are particularly susceptible to hearing damage, thanks to prolonged exposure to sounds above 85 decibels.

While already familiar with Loop Dream, which has been helping me block out sounds that disrupt my sleep, I’ve been trialling use during the day too as a way of enjoying live experiences safely via Loop Experience 2, which can offer up to 17 dB of noise reduction without impacting sound quality. Already aesthetically pleasing, the brand’s new collaboration with Swarovski matches perfectly with the sparkly rhinestones I wear all around my eyes.

Restore My Gut Health

Gut health is a top priority for me in 2026. As an avid scroller of #guttok, I’ve tried guzzling everything from kefir to kombucha to desperately do something to help. Without going into too much of the gory details, for years I’ve been on a knife-edge, worried about what food or drink will send me on a lengthy trip to the bathroom – an issue that is unsurprisingly only exacerbated by anxiety. Removing some of the guesswork, Epetōme Synbiotic Duo Cap delivers a potent daily dose of 11 different helpful bacteria straight to the gut.

Sleep Better

This resolution is already well underway. After years of being a restless sleeper, I have finally cracked the code to sleeping through the night without waking, and sleep supplements were the solution. A commitment to keep restless nights at bay, the two I’ve found most success with are Diome Rested (a supplement I’ve waxed lyrical about,) and You’re Looking Well Night Pill. Both formulated with natural ingredients like chamomile, green tea and the all-important magnesium bisglycinate, they’re a great choice for putting you in a deep sleep that doesn’t leave you groggy the next day.

Boost My Immune System

Like everyone, I hate being sick. Yet my seemingly paper-thin immune system – coupled with an overcrowded commute – means that I am more often than not dealing with some varying degree of illness (this is being written as I sniffle at my desk). In addition to a daily dose of ginger shot, I’m looking to branch into immune-boosting supplements to integrate into my routine. Artah Cellular Defence Daily Immune Support is your more typical supplement – packed with vitamin C, vitamin A, zinc and selenium to support a well-functioning immune system. I’m intrigued by de-liver-ance Plant Extract Elixir, a formula of 17 plant and herb extracts like turmeric, ginseng and rosemary oil in a blend that combines traditional practices with modern science.

Clear The Brain Fog

Maybe it’s an age thing, or maybe years of internet use have eroded my concentration, but I feel almost like a character on The Sims whose functions and actions have been deleted. After trialling shilajit – an Aryuvedic supplement to support energy and focus – I’m interested in other ingredients that can clear away the brain fog and bring more focus throughout the day. Lion’s Mane – a mushroom that has both culinary and medicinal uses – is one such ingredient. Found in Habi In The Zone Gummies, they’re formulated to increase alertness and focus throughout the day. Similarly, Swiish Recharge Hydration + Electrolyte have been the perfect remedy for the mid-afternoon slump, a delicious mango drink that boosts energy with sodium, potassium, magnesium and L-Glutamine. Great for post-gym, if I ever went.

Simply, Relax

While setting strict wellness resolutions might seem counterintuitive, wellness doesn’t have to be difficult or even expensive. It’s an ethos echoed by artist Marina Abramović – whose off-kilter mindfulness exercises include drinking a glass of water as slowly as possible (for a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of an hour) or complaining to a tree.

While those are great choices, other, more tangible mindfulness options could be as simple as slowing down while washing your hands. Bringing joy to your bathroom sink, Neom Complete Bliss Hand Wash is scented with delicate rose, lime for clarity and black pepper to bring grounding calm while Salt & Stone Black Rose & Oud Candle fills any room its lit in with a potent sense of peace thanks to mahogany, amber and vetiver.
