‘Real reason’ Meghan Markle wants a UK return just as bad as Prince Harry

Meghan Markle allegedly sent a letter to King Charles seeking answers on why “different rules” applied to her and Prince Harry compared to other royals, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit the Royal Family in 2020 and moved to the US for a new life.

Although the Sussexes originally wanted to be “part-time” royals, their wish was not granted by the late Queen Elizabeth and both sides agreed that they should carry on with their lives in America without using their HRH titles, which they still retain, for commercial gain.

And despite the frosty rift that has been building between them, it has been claimed that the Duchess attempted to deal with it privately.

LP Staff Writers

Writers at Lord’s Press come from a range of professional backgrounds, including history, diplomacy, heraldry, and public administration. Many publish anonymously or under initials—a practice that reflects the publication’s long-standing emphasis on discretion and editorial objectivity. While they bring expertise in European nobility, protocol, and archival research, their role is not to opine, but to document. Their focus remains on accuracy, historical integrity, and the preservation of events and individuals whose significance might otherwise go unrecorded.
