“Green is one of my go-to colours,” reveals Tinu Bello, A-List manicurist and senior brand ambassador for Mylee. “It’s versatile enough to suit confident and bold individuals, but also those who are more down-to-earth,” she says. “Green is popular all year round, but it’s especially trendy in the run up to spring and summer. It coincides with nature – green grass, lush trees, and blossoming flowers – so we can definitely expect to see an increase in green manis over the coming months,” Tinu confirms.

As for the current headliner, “sage green is a stunning shade that works well on its own for a minimal look, or paired with white or brown accents or nail art for a mani that stands out,” says Tinu. Try Mavala’s Green Zen nail polish or Essie’s Maximillian Strasse-Her nail polish.

“If you prefer a brighter, bolder green, Mylee’s Green There, Done That Gel Polish is your mani-match,” says Tinu. “This shade is perfect for festivals, parties, or for everyday nails that really make a statement. This colour might appear intimidating, but it can easily be toned down by using a sheer nude base and applying a bright green as French tips for a colourful pop.”

Elsewhere expect to see zingy shades of lime and tennis green as the weather heats up. We love OPI’s Clear Your Cash and Nail’s Inc’s Knightrider or Easy Being Green. And, since chrome and glazed finishes continue to dominate nail trends, we’re expecting plenty of mirror shine, too.

Here’s 31 of our favourite way to wear green nails in every different shade…
