When does Love Island 2025 finish?

Many say this year’s Love Island summer series is the best one yet. And fans certainly don’t want it to come to an end.

But all good things do, unfortunately, and the finale date has been set. The good news is we still have weeks of tea and juicy gossip, as well as hopefully some couplings that will go the distance, before it’s all over.

Earlier this week, we saw two bombshells, Billykiss and Ryan, enter the villa on Tuesday 1 July. Billykiss immediately challenged a previously seemingly solid partnering between Meg and Dejon. After all, he confessed to the boys that his head could be turned by Billykiss’ bombshell ways.

Here’s everything we know about when Love Island‘s summer instalment will come to an end.

Love Island 2025 finale date

The finale for Love Island 2025 has been confirmed by ITV as Monday 4 August – the reality TV dating show always begins and ends on a Monday – meaning we should have just over four weeks to go. In terms of potentially winners, Meg and Dejon are favourites to win, but with a Casa Amor twist looming, anything could happen.

The final will be broadcast live at the usual time of 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX from the iconic Mallorca villa out, with host Maya Jama revealing the couple who has won the public vote, as well as a share of £50,000. The episode normally involves the final four couples compete to win, with the public voting for their favourites.

We also know that winners receive a gift every year in the post, which includes the latest (and much coveted) Love Island water bottle design, as well as a letter from the show’s creative director, Mike Spencer-Hayter.

Until we reach the finale, Love Island airs every night of the week at 9pm except Saturday, where the Islanders are given a break from filming. The men and women are kept separately on this day each week, reportedly to avoid anything too juicy happening while the cameras aren’t rolling.
