In fact, it seems like that celestial privilege was not reserved for Trump.
To fill you in, Paytas is no stranger to frankly bizarre internet rumours through the years, though we’d argue that this one is perhaps the weirdest of all.
Trisha Paytas theory origins
The Trisha Paytas theory first originated back in September 2022 after Paytas announced that they had gone into labour around the same time as the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
In typical internet fashion, this connection was quickly picked up and escalated into a viral joke in which users suggested that Paytas’ baby was in fact the reincarnation of the late queen. Because of course.
Trisha’s second baby arrived with no cosmic overture, though when Pope Francis passed away in April 2025 fans were quick to revisit the theory, suggesting that Paytas’ third child may in fact be carrying the Pope’s soul. We know, gnarly stuff.

Ultimately, the timelines didn’t make sense with this one, with Trisha herself responding to the theory on her podcast Just Trish in which she said “First of all, I’m months away from my due date, not even close this time”, before challenging “Is it just any influential person that dies gets to come reincarnated as my baby?”
Yeah, basically Trish.
“I don’t know how my womb is carrying all these souls,” she joked.
Ultimately, while Osbourne’s death was actually ten days after the birth of Paytas’ third baby, the announcement timing has meant that people feel this is no mere coincidence.
We’ll leave that for you to mull over, and in the meantime here’s the adorable baby announcement photos:
