In: Juicy red
Out: Cherry cola
You can never go wrong with a classic red nail polish but the tone makes all the difference. Last autumn, black tinged ‘cherry cola’ shades were trending. Things lighten up for summer 2025, however, as everything from ‘royal red’ and ‘red velvet’ to bright fire engine red are the breakthrough colours of the season.
While all variations of ‘juicy summer red’ nails, our favourite iterations are those with orange undertones as the warmer tomato red tones flatter summer skin.

In: Matcha nails
Out: Royal blue
Last year, bold royal blue was the dominant shade on nails. Now this eye-catching hue is making way for none other than the TikTok girls’ favourite drink: matcha.
It was only a matter of time before the hype drink also inspired our manicure choice. As with matcha itself, you can vary the intensity of your green manicure. The only important thing is that the colour matches the drink. Whether you opt for a pastel shade or darker green, ensure it contains a rich, brownish undertone.
