Hailey Bieber Just Unveiled ‘Glass Slipper Nails’ And We’re Obsessed

In recent years, Hailey Bieber has honed in on a signature manicure style, generally a sheer white either topped with a pearly chrome glaze or a clear topcoat for shine. It’s simple, versatile, and easy for a busy skincare brand founder and new mum. But for the WSJ Magazine 2025 Innovator Awards in New York City, Hailey channelled Cinderella with a glassy take on her go-to nail.

For the event, Bieber retained her preferred nail shape, a medium-long almond, but swapped the creamier texture of her mani oeuvre in favour of a nearly translucent nail, with a frosty wash of the most delicate colour where a white French tip would typically be.

Like Cinderella’s famous glass slippers, they have a crystalline texture that makes them almost disappear onto the hand (in Hailey’s case) or foot (in Cinderella’s) depending on how she moved and posed in the light. You can fully see her natural nail, but her tips are almost clear. These aren’t sheer nails — they’re see-through nails.

Glassy, glossy nails are such a pretty way to wear a more neutral nail colour, like Heidi Klum’s soft milky white set and the midi soap nails seen at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

If you’re feeling a bit ho-hum about a neutral nail, no worries! At the Academy Museum gala, Hailey Bieber recently put her stamp on the trending cat-eye nail with a unique brown manicure that matched her Schiaparelli gown, seamlessly incorporating the prismatic nail topper into her look. Her go-to manicurist, Zola Ganzorig, took to Instagram to reveal how she achiveved the look, sharing that she used the cool-toned brown polish OPI Nail Lacquer in Brown to Earth.

The dusty lavender colour she wore for the Fashion Trust US Awards in early 2025 is also a strong contender — it’s soft and subtle but still feels right at home in the fall minimal nail maniscape. Just don’t forget your pedicure if you’re wearing a pair of glass slippers!
