Megan Fox’s Pastel Pink Nail Art Is a Sweet Nod to Her New Baby

Megan Fox welcomed her baby daughter in late March, and though she’s probably had her hands full with diaper changes, bedtime stories, and newborn cuddles, she’s doing all those new-mum tasks with the sweetest baby pink manicure.

As always, Fox’s latest mani is the work of nail artist Brittney Boyce, who sculpts all of the star’s sets. “She recently had her baby, so I wanted to make a baby pink ‘angel baby’ set,” Boyce said of the inspiration behind her nail art for Megan Fox. Boyce shaped Fox’s nails into the long, rounded almond shape she’s been wearing as of late, then applied a soft, blush pink polish as the base colour. Each finger sported its own unique, cherubic nail art, with plump baby angels fluttering across her nails.

Now, if you follow Fox’s nail art game (and we do, faithfully), you’re probably thinking that this feels a little cutesy for the star, who typically prefers toughening up a sweet set with edgier details like silver piercings or leopard print. True to form, the “angel baby” nails were accented by textural silver chrome, including teeny silver dots on a few fingertips and silver surrounding some of the angelic nail art. “Usually this type of nail would incorporate a gold accent, but that’s off brand for her, so I paired it with silver chrome instead,” Boyce said. Boyce also put a twist on the French manicure by painting two nails with a nude pink, then using the same light pink shade as the other nails on the tip and outlining it with silver chrome — a very Fox-ian spin on the pastel French if we’ve ever seen one.

Fox announced her pregnancy on Instagram in November with a rare grid post, and we instantly clocked a very familiar manicure. In the second slide of the carousel, she held a positive pregnancy test with chunky French tips studded with gemstones, which we had seen a sneak peek of a few months earlier. Fast forward to today, and Fox is now a mom of four! Hopefully she had the best Mother’s Day ever… with a manicure to match.
