Pamela Anderson Made a Triumphant Return to Her Signature ’90s Glam

Pamela Anderson has been in her fresh-faced era for a couple of years now—long enough that it can definitely be considered her new signature look. Her many makeup-free public appearances since 2023 came in stark contrast to the glam she’d become so well-known for over the last few decades; a dark eye, nude-but-very-much-there lipstick, and big, tousled hair were synonymous with Pam Anderson. But as fabulous as she’s been looking with a low-key look, it seems old habits die hard if a new photo is any indication.

Over the weekend, Los Angeles-based makeup artist David Velasquez posted a stunning photo to Instagram that you might think is a ‘90s throwback of Anderson, but it’s apparently not, especially considering he used Melt Cosmetics, which wasn’t even around until the 2010s, to do her makeup. The caption reads, “🔥🎸🤘🏻 Rock N Roll like the 90s 🎸🤘🏻🎸,” and he shouts out his assistant, Tony Yanez.

Wrapped in a red Versace robe, Anderson is seen wearing dark eye shadow smoked out all the way around the eye, black tight-liner, lush lashes, darkened skinny brows, overlined beige lipstick, and a mattified complexion. It could truly be a photo out of 1996, in all of the best ways.

The comments on Velasquez’s post are full of understandable enthusiasm. “She’s back!!!!” one commenter wrote, while another said, “Nostalgic glam .. an epic era 🔥.” But no one’s forgetting how Anderson truly pulls off both heavy and barely-there makeup. “Pammy out here reminding us she can eat us all up with or without makeup,” another commenter wrote, echoed by a fan who said, “We love seeing a natural Pammy AND a full glam Pammy!!!!”

Truer words were never spoken!
