Michelle Dewberry was forced to intervene after a fiery confrontation broke out on GB News when a Labour MP and a Reform UK councillor shouted over each other.
The argument erupted over claims about Reform UK’s stance on the National Health Service, with tempers flaring and the debate descending into chaos.
Labour MP Bill Rammell fumed on the channel: “My life is about trying to represent people, but not peddling simplistic solutions for very complicated problems.
“And you ask me why Reform is far-right? I’ll give you one example: the commitment to dismantle the National Health Service.”
Reform UK Councillor Laila Cunningham responded: “When was that said?”
Mr Rammell hit back: “It was said by Nigel Farage in 2015.”
Ms Cunningham fumed: “It wasn’t.”
Mr Rammell fired back: “Yes, he said he wanted to move towards an insurance-based system.”
Ms Cunningham shot: “How can you peddle such lies?”
Mr Rammell hit back: “It’s not a lie.”

Mr Rammell: “It’s not a lie. I will provide the quote where he said it.”
Ms Cunningham: “It’s shocking how Labour peddles lies to beat Reform. Be honest with the people. That’s why they don’t trust you.”
The shouting continued until Michelle Dewberry stepped in: “Pack it in. That’s enough of that. I am not going to let either of you finish because my show is nearly finished.”
The dramatic studio confrontation occurred after recent polling data showed Reform UK establishing a commanding position over Labour.
According to a BMG Research survey, Farage’s party has secured 35 per cent of voter support, placing them 15 points ahead of Labour, which has fallen to 20 per cent from 33 per cent the previous summer.
The poll suggests Reform UK would secure approximately 400 parliamentary seats if an election were held immediately.
Mr Farage responded to the findings by stating: “Something is happening out there.”
