Watch the moment GB News’ US panel have no idea who Sir Ed Davey is after the Liberal Democrat leader took a swipe at Nigel Farage.

Sir Ed had quipped at his 2025 party conference: “Trump’s America… don’t let it become Farage’s Britain.”

But political commentator Stephen Kent and Democrat strategist Malbert Smith were at a loss for words when quizzed on just who had made the claim.

Mr Smith gave The Late Show Live host Bev Turner a simple “no” – while Mr Kent jabbed: “I’m afraid not. Is he gonna play Voldemort?”

HBO, behind the new Harry Potter TV series, is said to have opened auditions – both for men and women – for the role of the Dark Lord.
