WATCH NOW: Kemi Badenoch puts Gary Neville on blast amid Union Jack flag row

Watch the moment Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch lambasts football pundit Gary Neville for his controversial comments about the Union Jack.

The Sky Sports commentator attracted a slew of criticism after he accused “middle-aged white men” of stirring up division in his home city of Manchester.

Sitting down with GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope, Mrs Badenoch hit out at Mr Neville’s remarks which he made online yesterday.

Releasing the video online, the former coach claimed that he had taken down flags and that they were being deployed in a “negative fashion” on some properties.

“I think that that’s just disgraceful,” the North West Essex MP shamed. “The flags are the things that bring us together.

“I love the Union flag. Everybody should be able to feel that the flag represents their home country.

“There’s nothing to be ashamed of about it. It shouldn’t be taken down. But that’s Gary Neville.”
