A Big Bold Beautiful Journey trailer

There is so much to unpack from this trailer. First of all, the roles of both Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jodie Turner-Smith’s roles are as yet unclear. We see Margot and Colin’s characters meet at what looks to be a wedding. They connect, they go their separate ways, and are then brought back together by David’s (Farrell) sat-nav, which ultimately seems to be an AI-style matchmaker. Creepy?

They set out on what the sat-nav itself calls “a big bold beautiful journey”. Walking through various disembodied doors that appear as if out of nowhere, they relive key moments of heartbreak and grief. Will they be able to learn from the past and ultimately change their future?

The entire movie seems to have a dreamy, romantic vibe, helped along by the use of Gracie Abrams’ beautiful track I miss you, I’m sorry in the trailer.
