Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff: A Complete Relationship Timeline

December 2, 2023: Eilish clarifies she didn’t intend to “come out” in her Variety interview, saying, “I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?’ I didn’t realise people didn’t know.”

“I just don’t really believe in [coming out]. I’m just like, why can’t we just exist? I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn’t talk about it,” she also said, adding, “I saw the article, and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I came out today!’ It’s exciting to me because I guess people didn’t know, so it’s cool that they know…I am for the girls.”

The singer continued: “I have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life. I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”

May 17, 2023: Sources tell Page Six that Eilish and Jesse Rutherford broke up after dating for less than a year. She confirms they’re “very very good friends only” in an Instagram story a few months later.

March 12, 2023: Nat’s brother Alex Wolff meets Eilish at an Oscar’s after-party in 2023, per an interview with Variety. In a later interview with Vogue, Eilish and Alex recall that she aleady knew Nat and the trio went out to a diner together after the party.

According to Alex, the trio quickly became close friends, bonding over their shared experience with Tourettes Syndrome. “Billie and me and my brother, we all have Tourette’s. And I think we all have bonded over that,” Wolff told Variety in October 2024. “Even when I saw Billie on interviews, I said, ‘Oh, she’s one of us.’”
