Kim Kardashian’s legal drama All’s Fair has dropped a trailer and we are fully seated

Kim Kardashian is set to star in a huge TV series centred around an all-female law firm, All’s Fair, appearing alongside Hollywood stars such as Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close and Naomi Watts. And a seriously sexy and intriguing trailer has just dropped.

Created by American Horror Story‘s Ryan Murphy (who Kim worked with on American Horror Story: Delicate), the series looks to be an absolute show stopper, putting female empowerment and stories at its centre.

We’ve seen Kim talk about her nerves about appearing in the upcoming series on an April episode of The Kardashians. “The second episode I have a huge scene just me and Glenn Close, like a really important one,” she confides to her sister Khloé and her mum Kris Jenner, who is also an executive producer on the show.

In a confessional, she added: “We are talking about Cruella de Vill here. I am acting with Cruella de Vil.”

We certainly are. Here’s everything we know so far about All’s Fair.

All’s Fair trailer

At its core, the show seems to be about “women representing women”, with a girl’s best friend described as her lawyer, not diamonds. The trailer also shows us some seriously steamy scenes, so we predict it’s going to be sexy as well as empowering.

There’s certainly a lot on female anger and retribution after clients are wronged by their partners, and we love to see it. We also love to see Glenn Close insisting: “Get mad, get hot, get revenge!”

Sarah Paulson’s character – something of an antagonist – describes “all the women who own this joint”, ie the law firm, as “bitter”. Ouch.

All’s Fair plot

We don’t have an exact plot synopsis due to certain details being kept under wraps, but we know that Kim will play a divorce lawyer working at an all-female law firm based in LA. This comes after Kim herself enrolled to study law as part of an apprenticeship at a San Francisco-based firm.

All’s Fair cast

Glenn Close will play the head of the all-female law firm, while Sarah Paulson looks to be some kind of legal opponent from the looks of the trailer. Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash and Teyana Taylor will also star. Halle Berry was also set to appear but unfortunately exited the show. TVLine also reported that Brooke Shields will be involved in the show, in an as yet undisclosed role.

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment back in October 2024, Sarah Paulson spoke out about working with Kim and the need for audiences to take her seriously as an actor. “I think it is absolutely time for people to take Kim Kardashian seriously as an actress. She was absolutely excellent in American Horror Story: Delicate.

“I think the show we’re about to do together is going to be a tremendous amount of fun and she’s going to be glorious on it. I have absolutely no doubt about that. Zero.”

All’s Fair release date

According to the trailer, we can expect a spring 2025 release date, not long to wait!
