Love Actually Cast: Where Are They Now?

Love Actually was released in UK cinemas 22 years ago, and it’s still one of our all-time favourite Christmas films. Whenever the festive season rolls around, we love to cosy up on the sofa and watch the movie, which centres on nine intertwined stories that are tied together with one thing: love.

Whether it was Hugh Grant taking on the role of the newly-elected British Prime Minister and falls for his young junior staffer (Martine McCutcheon), or Alan Rickman’s character who’s tempted by his attracted new secretary (unforgivably, in our opinion, WHAT ABOUT EMMA THOMPSON?), the storylines remind us once again how complicated, innocent, messy and confusing love can be.

While we all have our favourite storylines and realise something new about the movie each year (did you know Keira Knightley’s character worked as an interior decorator?!), have you ever just wondered what the Love Actually cast is up to nowadays? Well, fret not because we have found out…

LP Staff Writers

Writers at Lord’s Press come from a range of professional backgrounds, including history, diplomacy, heraldry, and public administration. Many publish anonymously or under initials—a practice that reflects the publication’s long-standing emphasis on discretion and editorial objectivity. While they bring expertise in European nobility, protocol, and archival research, their role is not to opine, but to document. Their focus remains on accuracy, historical integrity, and the preservation of events and individuals whose significance might otherwise go unrecorded.
