Brighton Pride has long been known for its legendary bookings, and this year does not disappoint – that’s right, the iconic Mariah Carey will grace the stage at the UK’s biggest Pride street party this year.
The singer has marked a music comeback already in 2025, and is set to release her 16th studio album Here For It All in September – no doubt Lambs worldwide already have her latest single, Sugar Sweet, on repeat. Not to mention that Mariah’s much-loved album The Emancipation of Mimi is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, marked with a re-released special edition complete with bonus tracks.
Despite this, Mariah famously doesn’t ‘do’ time – as in, she doesn’t engage in the concept of time passing, or getting older. She recently told Harper’s Bazaar: “I don’t allow it – it just doesn’t happen. I don’t know time. I don’t know numbers. I do not acknowledge time.” Mariah forever!
As for what we can expect from her setlist at Preston Park, we can safely take some guidance from Mariah’s recent performance at the Capital Summertime Ball, for which she mostly played classic hits alongside some new music. Most notably, she sounded incredible (and yes, there were plenty of those signature whistle notes).
Mariah Carey‘s recent return to the UK marks her first performances here in six years, so you better believe she’s gonna play the hits. Will she sing All I Want For Christmas Is You for the campness of it all? Here’s hoping. Ahead, every song you can expect at her Brighton Pride appearance.

What time will Mariah Carey perform at Brighton Pride?
There’s no official line-up timings for Brighton Pride this year, but as the headliner on Saturday 2 August, Mariah is expected to appear as the last act on the bill. The festival finishes at 10.30pm, so we’d expect Mariah to take to the stage at around 9pm.
You can still buy tickets for Brighton Pride via AXS.
