Nobody Wants This season 2 officially has an autumn release date and we are beyond excited

We’ve received some important news when it comes to Nobody Wants This season 2. And thank goodness, because it is an objective fact that we all need to see more Noah and Joanne!

The hit Netflix romcom series will be back with new episodes in October, officially.

In case you missed it, the series sees OC fave Adam Brody and the inimitable Kristen Bell taking on the roles of Rabbi Noah and agnostic sex podcaster Joanne as the two fall in love, with the show delving into all the complications that come with a cross-faith relationship.

Based on Brody’s OC co-star Erin Foster’s own love story, the series is a quintessential rom-com in the best way. And now, we’ve got a first look at season 2.

Brody has opened up about just how much the Nobody Wants This cast have bonded on set.

“We just enjoy each other so much,” he said in an interview with Netflix’s Queue Magazine. “I know these are early days, but we’re not young kids. We’re stable. And I would imagine if we go a long time, we’ll still feel that way. I just really, really, really like everyone.”

Announcing the second series, Netflix’s own X account posted the following caption, with an adorable picture of Kristen and Adam filming a rather cute scene for their characters, all cuddled up on the sofa. But will the picture-perfect romance last long? We will have to see.

The caption for the post reads: “Kristen Bell and Adam Brody behind the scenes of Nobody Wants This Season 2. WHICH IS NOW IN PRODUCTION!!”

Jackie Tohn – who plays Noah’s sister-in-law Esther Roklov – has also been promoted to series regular for season 2. Surely this means we will see more of Sasha and Esther’s relationship, as well as his friendship with Justine Lupe’s Morgan. Will they continue to dance around the “grey area”? We saw Esther express her issues with both Joanne and Morgan in the season one finale, after Joanne and Sasha got a little too close.
