Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl release date, cover art and latest news

Shocking to no one, when the countdown hit time Swift’s site immediately crashed before finally recovering to share limited details about her new project.

However, during her appearance on Kelce’s podcast we saw Swift dramatically open a cream briefcase with an orange ‘TS’ embellished on it to reveal a blurred out vinyl, explaining “This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl”, closely followed by Jason Kelce’s screams. Showmanship at its best.

Has The Life of a Showgirl release date been confirmed?

Yes! During her appearance on the ‘New Heights’ podcast, Swift revealed that the album will be released on 3 October, while preorders will be shipped on 13 October.

What else we know about The Life of a Showgirl

No one works harder than Taylor Swift fans, and they are piecing together the clues already. Along with the major announcement, A playlist also cropped up on T-Swizzle’s Spotify.

In a comment on Reddit, one user was quick to call out “All songs produced by Max Martin and Shellback… Oh pop taylor is BACKKKK baby”, with many fans speculating the new album to be a quintessential pop banger Taylor style.
