This Addictive Revenge Thriller Is Set To Be Your Next TV Obsession

Over a series of glum pints at the local pub after their meetings, the group realise that what they really want is not to accept their fates, but rather, to form what is, Calum says, “basically a pound shop Ocean’s Eleven” and seek revenge. First up is Emily’s ex-husband and bestie. They plan out a Home Alone-style heist involving a fake tarot card reader, spooky music and a pile of rats. The ex-husband and ex-bestie and sufficiently freaked out and make plans to vacate Emily’s home. A success!

Ominous flash forwards showing Emily in a police interview hint that things take a sinister turn and that – well – “people die.” So, yes, it’s going to get dark, but rest assured, the show keeps its biting, wry wit the whole way through. Consider us hooked.
