Wednesday season 2 part 1 spoilers ahead.
The magical world of Wednesday is back on our screens – with our dour narrator and protagonist (played by Jenna Ortega) returning to solve an array of mysteries at Nevermore Academy.
She is joined, of course, by her best friend, roommate and polar opposite Enid (played by Emma Myers). But we know that Enid’s life could be potentially endangered this season – the trailer hints that Wednesday has a vision that suggests Enid will die, and it will be all her fault. The vision shows Wednesday Enid’s tombstone.
The entirety of the first half of season 2 consists of Wednesday’s efforts to stop her vision from coming true, while keeping the truth from Enid. So does Enid die in Wednesday season 2?

Does Enid die in Wednesday season 2?
We don’t know a lot about Enid’s fate in part 2, but we can confirm that she does make it to the finale of part 1, as she is unknowingly part of Wednesday’s mission to stop her vision from coming to pass.
Catherine Zeta Jones‘ Morticia also tries to help Wednesday navigate her visions, seeing as she watched her sister go through a similar problem with her psychic abilities. This means that we see a lot more of CZJ this season. “I will not let history repeat itself,” Morticia promises Wednesday, as they go on a mission to save Enid, or die trying.
The show’s creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have already said that they wanted to explore the limits of friendship this season – so our question is will Enid survive this conflict?

Emma previously told GLAMOUR in an interview that her character Enid’s sunny disposition means she’s also often the only person on set allowed to smile on camera.
“It’s quite fun to be the complete opposite of most of the cast in that show [and] being the one that’s allowed to laugh at things,” she says of her experiences filming both season one and two. “So when there are funny moments, I’m the only one that doesn’t get in trouble for smiling at it.”
