What time is Squid Game season 3 coming out on Netflix? Release schedule in full

Squid Game season 3 is on the horizon, with the hit show’s third season marking the conclusion of the series in its entirety. But first, we have a few more horrifying games to get through.

The third season of the addictive Korean survival thriller will see Gi-hun and Hwang In-ho (AKA Front Man, AKA the Squid Game big boss) going head to head once and for all, with the stakes being higher than ever and the games being gorier to boot.

On the dynamics that play out in the third season of the show, Squid Game creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk told Tudum “For Front Man, sending Gi-hun back to the game — rather than killing him — makes sense. He wants Gi-hun to really feel and understand the heavy price of his own mistakes. Front Man wants Gi-hun to be driven to a state where he will finally give up his faith in humanity as well as faith in himself. It’s important for the Front Man that Gi-hun returns to the game.”

And beyond that whole mess we can expect to see a host of new characters in season 3. Move over ‘Red light, green light’ doll, because from the little preview we got of Squid Game season 3 in the second season’s post-credits, there’s a new maniacal doll in town called Cheol-su who is equally as terrifying.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly on his focus for Squid Game season 3 Hwang Dong-hyuk said “I wanted to introduce games that could really show the lowest bottom of human beings, because the series itself is reaching its climax.”

He explained, “I wanted very intense games to bring out the bottom parts of human nature.”

It’s safe to say that we’re in for a loaded finale of the hit show, though what time is Squid Game season 3 coming out on Netflix? Here’s everything to know ahead of the highly anticipated release date.
