Who is Love Island’s Conor Phillips and what rugby team is he on?

Conor Philips is the latest addition to the Love Island 2025 cast, having joined the 12th series of the show following Kyle Ashman being pulled from the line-up.

The show returned to UK screens on 9 June, with Maya Jama welcoming 12 new islanders into the villa for more cracking on, melty behaviour and head turning than we’ve seen in months.

Conor’s not the first Irish rugby player the show has seen, with season 5’s Greg going on to win the series with Amber Gill. In fact, Conor said that he’d even spoken to Greg for advice before joining the Love Island line-up, who advised him “Enjoy it and take it day by day and if you can be yourself you can’t really go too far wrong”. Facts.

25-year-old Conor revealed he’s only had one short relationship before, so how will his time in the villa play out?

“I feel like I’m maybe doing something wrong or maybe I’m not in the right places,” he said.

“So, hopefully this is the right place, and it should be, you know, because you’re in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful people, so I’m hoping that this is the one.”

Fingers crossed for our Irish rugby lad! So who is Love Island‘s Conor Philips and what do we know about him so far?
