10 Fashion Trends Taking Over 2026 – According To Pinterest

Do you ever feel like fashion trends and pop culture are whipping around you at lightning speed, and no matter what you do, you just can’t keep up? (Because you have a job and can’t spend 24/7 online.) If you feel even more out of touch in recent years, it might not just be because you’re getting old: the trend cycle has indeed cranked up the speed. According to Pinterest’s annual trend report, trends are growing 4.4 times faster than they were seven years ago.

Pinterest Predicts is the yearly trend report that compiles search data to make informed predictions on what we’ll be wearing and doing the following year. Since 600 million people visit Pinterest each month, this provides them with unique insight into the visuals that inspire people. By analysing year-over-year growth, Pinterest can identify rising trends and has achieved 88% accuracy over the past 6 years.

For 2026, many of the trends on the list were tied in some way to nostalgia or escapism, which has been a common theme in fashion and beauty in recent years and is an indication of how we all feel about the world currently. (Spoiler: not great.)

The report includes 21 predictions which span fashion, beauty, homeware and leisure trends. We’ve picked out the 10 fashion trends that are most likely to influence your wardrobe next year.

Gimme gummy

Gen Z and millennials are embracing their inner child with the trend for all things gummy and squishy. Bendy phone cases, rubberised nail art and childlike 3D jewellery are just some of the ways this trend is predicted to manifest. There’s also been a 130% rise in the searches for “jelly blush”, which are cheek tints which are more gel-like as opposed to powdery. It’s more than gummy bear jewellery: jelly-like food is also trending, with searches for the Japanese dessert “yokan” having risen 60%.
