Emma Watson Gave Summer’s Biggest Shoe Trend an All-Seasons Twist

Clogs are coming in hot as one of the biggest shoe trends this summer, with cosigns from Stray Kids’ Bang Chan and Malia Obama. Emma Watson, however, is hopping in on the trend with a style that will last you way beyond the height of summer.

The Harry Potter alum was spotted departing Paris on June 9, 2025, wearing the perfect casual outfit for a day of traveling, comprised of a Prada workwear-inspired jacket, a white and brown checkered shirt, light wash baggy jeans, and a pair of brown suede clogs lined with shearling.

Clogs lined with shearling might not be the most obvious shoe choice for summer, but Emma Watson clearly made them work for the Parisian weather, which means if you live in a not-so-hot climate, so could you. Not to mention, these might be a more sensible option to continue wearing into the colder months. Her choice in particular seems to be the Boston Shearling clogs from the German fan-favourite brand Birkenstock, which retail for £160.

Watson has been spotted out and about in Paris all throughout the past weekend, and she brought along a solid shoe rotation with her, it seems. Before being spotted with the clogs, she was also photographed wearing a pair of another trending style: retro sneakers. The actor opted for a brown pair of the Hogan 86er sneakers, which retail for a casual £360.

The star also wore a pair of classic black Chelsea boots with the same light wash baggy jeans and Prada jacket combo, meaning the choice of clogs was definitely to prioritise comfort.
