If there’s one style staple that works through all four seasons, it’s jeans. And while baggy and barrel styles have reigned supreme of late, how to style straight leg jeans has been the question we’ve been asking as they emerge as one of 2026’s biggest denim trends.
The favoured trouser choice of off-duty models like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, straight denim is arguably the most wearable style: worn with blousers and blazers, they can be sleek and sophisticated enough for even the most corporate office environment, yet teamed with a graphic tee or bandeau top, a straight leg jean can look casual or dressy.
They’re versatile with length, too, with some styles stopping just short of the ankle, which look super chic worn with a ballet flat, kitten heels or moccasins with socks (especially for the colder months), and other styles that sit a little longer, lying on the foot and looking lovely paired with ankle boots and chunky loafers.
