Lounge has been one of the best lingerie brands I’ve shopped at for some time now, so when they started offering wardrobe essentials outside of their usual negligee remit earlier this year, my interest piqued.
Could the place I shop for my T-shirt bras, cotton underwear and loungewear sets be just as good at knitwear, autumn jackets and even boots and loafers? The answer is yes, and Emily Ratajkowski’s latest campaign with the label is proof.
While the line-up is still largely focused around underwear (it’s their bread and butter, after all), there are also two-piece sets, blazers, plus a pair of jeans and a trench coat that’ll have everyone asking you “where’s that from?”
“It’s a collaboration that just makes sense,” says Melanie Marsden, co-founder and CBO. “Lounge celebrates Emily’s belief that femininity and confidence are hers to choose, always on her terms,” she adds, with corsetry-inspired tops and tailoring with nipped-in waists to back up her claims.
With nearly a decade of expertise in fit, contouring and championing women with an all-female team, British fashion brand Lounge prides itself on being accessible, timeless, versatile and modern.
Their latest drop – which is already selling out FYI – isn’t the only thing I’ve been shopping on-site, though. The new-in section is filled to the brim with autumn/winter fashion trend-approved suede, chocolate browns and burgundy reds, and tulle separates inspired by the runways of Dior, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton.
