Miley Cyrus Wore the Anti-Skinny Jeans That Are Perfect for Summer

Miley Cyrus is currently on the road promoting her new album, Something Beautiful, which means long days, travel, and many, many outfits. However, over the past few weeks, we’ve noticed the singer stepping out in a specific denim style over and over again.

Cyrus provided major travel-outfit inspiration with the look she wore on her arrival at the airport in New York on June 7, when she wore casual high-rise jeans in a light blue wash.

Admittedly, denim doesn’t seem like the most obvious choice, especially for long flights. But if you opt for the slouchy wide-leg version made of lightweight denim that’s so popular at the moment, you not only save space in your suitcase, but you get to be super comfy while in flight.

Cyrus paired her jeans with a black cardigan, which she wore loosely unbuttoned, underlining the relaxed feel of her look. Particularly on trend: her Chanel ballet flats, perfectly colour-coordinated with her black maxi bag.

In her anti-skinny jeans, Miley Cyrus has found the most comfortable pants trend of the moment, especially for warmer months, as the wide cut allows air to circulate and prevents the fabric from sticking uncomfortably to the body. Speaking of fabric: It’s worth looking at the material composition. Cotton blends made from linen or lyocell are ideal for summer, as they are particularly light and breathable.

For those wanting to recreate Miley’s look for yourself, we love this similar pair:
