The Trousers To Wear In Winter When You Don’t Want To Wear Jeans

Let’s face it, even the most well-dressed amongst us have had mornings where we stare at our wardrobe and wonder what trousers to wear that day. And why is the answer always jeans? No matter your personal style or how you feel about trends, denim always seems to be the universal fallback option.

I get it — they’re comfy, classic and look good with everything. Thinking about going a whole week without wearing them might seem impossible, but I’m here to challenge you to think about giving them a rest — at least for a day or two. I know, I know, it’s really hard to answer the “what do I wear?” debate without resorting to your most trusted denim. But a new season is often a good time to reset, and there are so many cool jeans alternatives that’ll inspire you to push and elevate your personal style.

Of course, a skirt is always a reliable option on days you don’t feel like wearing jeans. But as the temperature changes, trousers are really the best bet. They are so versatile, too. Do you prefer your trousers baggy or tailored? Either way, there’s a fit for you. And there are so many colour options on the market as well. Black is always a safe choice, brown is the trendiest at the moment, and white is a surprisingly good choice for winter.

No matter your personal aesthetic, here’s what trousers to wear on the days you don’t feel like putting on jeans.

Here are the 7 trousers to wear in winter — that aren’t jeans.
