The Lionesses are back in action and, boy, have we missed them. After a historic win at the European Championships in 2022, the England squad faced heartbreak at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023, narrowly losing out to Spain. Now, it’s time to settle the score at the UEFA 2025 Women’s European Championships, which is taking place across Switzerland.

While you can expect to see some familiar faces at this year’s champs – Lucy Bronze, you have my heart forever – there’s plenty of fresh blood on the squad. After Mary Earpes announced her international retirement earlier this year, all eyes are on Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton, who is all too capable of filling Mary’s enormous boots. We’re also hugely excited about Arsenal’s Michelle Agyemang’s call-up. The 19-year-old has already scored on her senior England debut, and we’re rooting for her to find the back of the net again – ideally against Spain.
