Reform UK has become the first to win 51 by-elections since May as Nigel Farage’s party celebrates another two victories.
The party has had a successful run in by-elections across the country – and this week was no exception.
It snatched victory from Labour in the Roebuck ward on Stevenage Council and defeated an independent candidate in the Garlinge ward on Thanet Council, Kent.
Announcing his party’s by-election milestone this morning, Mr Farage said: “Reform UK becomes the first party to win 50 local council by-elections since May 1st.”

Reform has won 51 seats and defended eight since by-elections commenced in May, according to Election Maps UK.
The Liberal Democrats are in second place, with 45 wins, followed by the Tories at 16.
Labour is meanwhile trailing behind with 13 wins.
So how did Reform perform in the six by-elections held this week? GB News investigates.

“Huge congratulations to Rob and all the team who worked so hard to support him and thank you to the wonderful residents of Roebuck for voting for him.”
A by-election was called following the resignation of Labour councillor, Anne Wells.
