Gisele Bündchen Shows Off Her Newborn Son in the Sweetest Mother’s Day Snap

It was Mother’s Day in the US on 11th May, and Gisele Bündchen used the occasion to share a photo of her newborn son for the first time on social media.

The Brazilian supermodel shares two kids with ex-husband Tom Brady, and welcomed her third child, with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, in February 2025. For US Mother’s Day in May, she gave fans a glimpse of the kid on Instagram, holding him on her shoulder so that he faced away from the camera and we could see his adorable fuzzy jumpsuit, which read “I ❤️ Mom” on the back.

Bündchen also uploaded an adorable picture of a group hug between herself, Valente, and her three kids; a photo with her recently deceased mother; as well as pics of some white flowers and a strawberry treat. In the caption of the post, she addressed her step away from the spotlight and social media, writing, “I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life..Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived. Lately, I’ve been embracing the slower rhythms, the real connections, the beauty in the lessons that come with being present.”

“Today, on Mother’s Day, I specially miss my mom, but my heart is full,” she continued. “Being a mother it’s been my greatest gift, a journey that humbles me, teaches me, and fills me with gratitude every single day. To all the mothers out there, your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe. I see you, I honour you. Happy mother’s day! Sending so much love your way! ❤️”

Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente have not yet revealed their baby’s first name, but People did learn that his middle name is River, which is in keeping with Bündchen’s tradition of giving her kids aquatic middle names; her older son and daughter are Vivian Lake and Benjamin Rein. In the meantime, guess we’ll just call him SirCutiePatootie.
