Who is Scarlett Johansson married to?

Scarlett Johansson may have shared a gorgeous, surprise kiss with her Jurassic World Rebirth co-star and Bridgerton sweetheart Jonathan Bailey at the premiere for their blockbuster movie, but her romantic life lies elsewhere.

The Black Widow star is actually married to comedy writer Colin Jost, whom she met on the set of Saturday Night Live and has collaborated with many times. Couples who work together stay together.

Here’s what we know about ScarJo’s current relationship status and a brief rundown of her dating history.

Who is Scarlett Johansson married to?

The actor is married to Saturday Night Live co-head writer Colin Jost, whom she first met in 2006 when she hosted the comedy show. They began dating in 2017, got engaged in May 2019, and married in October 2020. They also share one son named Cosmo.

“The first time she hosted was the first year I was a writer on the show,” Colin previously said. “So, we’ve kind of known each other since then … she’s the best.”

Last month, she hosted SNL in a rather cute full-circle moment. At the end of the show, when she joined her castmates for closing credits, Colin ran out and handed her a bouquet of roses and gave her a kiss.

During a sketch inspired by her upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth, they even shared a couple-related joke. “Hey, babe. I had a sketch idea I wanted to pitch you. Maybe it’s one where we, I don’t know, finally kiss?” Jost asked. To which Johansson screamed, “No!”

She opened up on the Goop podcast in April 2023 about her journey before her relationship with the SNL writer. “I didn’t know what I wanted or needed from somebody else. I think identifying those things was a game-changer for me,” she said, adding that her relationship with Colin has worked because they “move around the world in the same way.” Adorable.
