Prince Harry’s ‘yearning’ risks marriage 6 years since Megxit

The Duke of Sussex’s “yearning” to return to the UK and reconcile with the King is allegedly putting pressure on his marriage, reports claim. Prince Harry has spoken of his desire to rebuild bridges with the Royal Family and is said to be hopeful of having his taxpayer-funded security while in the UK reinstated amid a review.

Today marks six years since the Sussexes announced their decision to step down as senior working royals. The Duchess has not set foot in the UK since 2022. Now, reports suggest Meghan Markle is less keen on a return, with the difference in opinion allegedly creating “tension” between the couple. A source told RadarOnline claimed the said to dispute is “deeply emotional” and “threatens to tear them apart – geographically and emotionally”. Harry is said to be increasingly “fixated” on the prospect of spending more time in the UK, with a source saying: “His sense of yearning has grown stronger as he looks back on the years he has largely spent apart from his father.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not commented on the claims; however, Meghan recently featured an unseen photograph of herself with her husband, looking more in love than ever, in her brand’s latest post about her January, with the message: “January: Reset & Rituals.”
