Queen Elizabeth’s damning one-word reaction to Andrew’s friendship with Epstein

A recently unearthed email has revealed what the late Queen Elizabeth truly thought about her son Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the years before she died, the late Queen gave Andrew her “full support” following the emergence of two damning photographs that showed him with Epstein following his conviction, and another of Andrew with his arm around Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual assault. Andrew denies all wrongdoing.

Now, in the newly released Epstein files, an email between trusted royal adviser David Stern and Epstein reveals what the late Queen thought about her son’s connections with the billionaire paedophile.

Stern wrote to Epstein: “He has full support of his mum, only dealing with you was ‘unwise’,” with quote marks implying that Mr Stern is quoting the opinion of Queen Elizabeth, according to reports from ITV.

In 2019, after Andrew’s disastrous Newsnight interview, the late monarch authorised for Andrew to step down from being a working royal. It wasn’t until six years later that King Charles stripped Andrew of all his royal titles.

Kate Middleton’s secret thrill in under-the-radar move – ‘It’s how I get my fix’

The Princess of Wales spends most of her time balancing her busy mum life with important royal duties. But it seems Kate is still able to carve out time for herself to indulge in her passion for the arts – in a series of secret visits.

Having studied the subject at university, the princess is known to love visiting galleries, exhibitions, enjoying ballet and visiting textiles manufacturers – just like the ones she travelled to in Wales last week to learn about their techniques. And it has emerged that Kate managed an under the radar visit to an exhibition celebrating artist William Morris.

Has the Andrew scandal affected the Royal Family’s reputation?

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s years of scandals over his connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have cost him a lot. They have cost him his titles, patronages, his Royal Lodge home, and even the relationships with many members of his family.

And while the ongoing Epstein scandal continues to unearth more allegations against the former prince, he is not the only person who has been brought down by the seemingly endless list of indiscretions. For several years, royal fans and commentators alike have demanded answers from the Firm to deal with the Andrew problem, jeopardising the reputation of the Royal Family as calls went unanswered.

Inside Andrew and Epstein’s ‘threesome’ with dancer at ‘party with young girls’

A dancer claims she was treated “like a prostitute” by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Jeffrey Epstein at a party with girls who looked “as young as 14-years-old”.

Speaking through her lawyer, the unnamed woman claimed this incident occurred in 2006, after she was chauffeured to a party at Epstein’s now notorious Palm Beach home. As per these allegations, unearthed as yet more Epstein files come to light, the woman was hired as a dancer by the disgraced financier, but ended up allegedly being “treated like a prostitute”.

Kate Middleton’s ‘fierce wish for royal kids strengthened after Beckham feud’

As with most mums, the Princess of Wales no doubt faces her fair share of challenges when it comes to raising her children. But with Prince George about to enter his teenage years, and start a new school in September, both she and Prince William are bracing themselves for a particularly testing year.

But the issue of bringing children up in the public eye has been brought into sharp focus in recent weeks after Brooklyn Beckham, who also grew up in the spotlight, had a very public fallout with his parents David and Victoria.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond believes that Kate may have been keeping an eye on this situation given the nature of Brooklyn’s public upbringing – and it will have reinforced her fierce desire at the heart of her parenting to shield her children.

King Charles has ‘no choice over Andrew and it stinks – here’s what must happen now’

King Charles has ‘no choice’ but to continue to support his younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as pressure mounts on him to testify about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a royal expert says.

He is reportedly staying temporarily in the former home of his late father Prince Philip, Wood Lodge, until he moves into Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate. The Farm is currently undergoing extensive renovation ahead of his expected arrival, and the costs are believed to be covered by King Charles as the house sits on his privately-owned Sandringham Estate.

Former royal editor Duncan Larcombe says the King, who is over a decade older than Andrew, has little choice but foot the bill for the renovation costs and house move.
