Shamed Andrew sparks staff revolt at Sandringham after latest blow from King

King Charles was confronted with questions about the Epstein scandal as he was shouted at by a heckler during a engagement today.

Charles and Camilla walked in the Essex village of Dedham with crowds gathered behind metal barriers to meet them after visiting a 15th-century pub. A man in the crowd shouted as the King was near him: “Charles, Charles, have you pressurised the police to start investigating Andrew?” Police officers approached the man afterwards and walked with him away from the barriers.

Shortly afterwards a news reporter in the crowd – who was beside a cameraman – tried to ask Charles a question about his brother. The King, who did not respond to the shouts, was then led to the far side of the road, away from the crowds, to continue the walkabout.

The awkward confrontation comes hours after the Essex village was littered with images of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, that were released in the recent drop of the Epstein files, shortly before Charles’ arrival.

While the King and Queen met wellwishers in Essex, the Prince and Princess of Wales were undertaking their own engagement, as they had a private audience with the Archbishop of Canterbury in London.

‘Disgraced Andrew left in no doubt of King’s fury as Palace fear more scandal’

Under the cloak of darkness, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor this week skulked out of Windsor and into exile. The King and the rest of his family may wish it was that easy. But after weeks of further uncomfortable headlines, the former prince was left in no doubt of the King’s fury over his continued desire to tough it out.

Andrew’s brazen attitude has been his eventual undoing, a sense of superiority above others, a rancid characteristic that has continued even when stripped down by his brother and finally packed off in disgrace and onto the royals’ Sandringham estate. Out of sight he may well be, out of mind another.

Beatrice and Eugenie ‘staying loyal’ to Andrew and Fergie despite public shunning

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have decided to stay loyal to their parents and support them from behind closed doors, while distancing themselves in public, it is claimed. A source has said that the princesses, who continue to be dragged into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s scandals, are trying their best to compartmentalise their relationships with their parents as the Epstein scandal rages on.

Both Andrew and Fergie have been caught up in the Epstein scandal, as newly released files show further emails and images of the former Duke and Duchess of York conversing with the convicted sex offender. Andrew and Sarah have denied any wrongdoing.

With Beatrice and Eugenie caught in the crossfire of the scandal and struggling to navigate their relationships with their parents, a source told the Daily Mail that the sisters are remaining “loyal to their parents in private while separating themselves in public”.

King announces new bank holiday – but not for everybody

The King has announced a Scottish bank holiday will be held on June 15 to mark the nation’s return to the football World Cup.

Scotland was last in the World Cup in 1998, and the declaration from palace officials came when First Minister John Swinney asked for the day after Scotland’s debut game in the cup to be marked as an annual holiday. The Scotland men’s national team will have their first fixture against Haiti on Sunday June 14, with kick-off at 2am UK time.

In response, Buckingham Palace said: “To mark the achievement of Scotland’s men’s football team competing at the Fifa World Cup for the first time in 28 years, we consider it desirable that Monday, the fifteenth day of June in the year 2026 should be a bank holiday in Scotland.

“Now, therefore, we, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Monday, the fifteenth day of June in the year 2026 to be a bank holiday in Scotland.”

Should Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor be removed from the line of succession?

In October last year, after years of scandals surrounding his association with Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of all his royal titles, including prince, and was forced to hand over his lease on the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Since the shocking announcement, Andrew has been living a life in exile, recently moving from Windsor to the King’s private Sandringham estate, and only being seen sporadically for his horse-riding lessons. While Andrew has hidden away from the public eye, it seems the allegations against him have not. Over the last few months, more allegations have emerged about the former prince and his involvement with the late paedophile financier, all of which Andrew has strongly denied.

Despite the disgraced royal being essentially banished from royal life and all but forced to live in exile, Andrew remains eighth in line to the throne, with his name still appearing on the official royal website’s line of succession page.

Shamed Andrew sparks staff revolt at Sandringham

Earlier this week, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor left the last shred of his royal life behind as he was finally kicked out of the Royal Lodge and relocated to Sandringham in Norfolk.

Within just days of settling in to his life in exile, it seems the former prince’s presence at the King’s estate has not been welcomed by some of the dedicated staff. According to reports from The Sun, bosses at Sandringham have informed staff they do not have to work for Andrew if they feel uncomfortable.

An insider told the publication that there is a “long list” of staff members who do not wish to work for the disgraced royal, as new revelations continue to emerge from the latest damning drop of the Epstein files. Andrew has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

The source said: “They’ve been told they don’t have to serve Andrew or work for him if they feel uncomfortable. There is already quite a list saying no thanks. There is understandably a lot of disquiet as he is now a total pariah. But there is also a worry that once he gets comfortable at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm is being finished, they will never get him out again.”

Epstein file photos of Andrew scattered around village ahead of King’s visit

Photographs of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor released in the so-called Epstein files appear to have been scattered around an Essex village ahead of a visit by the King. Several pictures of the former duke crouching over an unidentified woman were found littered on a street in Dedham, the East Anglian Daily Times reported.

The image was included as part of the latest batch of files released by the US Department of Justice relating to the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. A video of the scattered printouts of the image was posted on social media on Wednesday, ahead of a royal visit due to take place in the village a day later. Andrew has previously strongly denied any wrongdoing.

The King and Queen are set to visit an inn in Dedham on Thursday before greeting members of the public on the high street, where the printouts were seen.

It comes after Andrew moved from Royal Lodge, his Windsor mansion, to the King’s Sandringham Estate on Tuesday. On the same day, Thames Valley Police confirmed they were assessing allegations that a woman was sent to the UK by Epstein for a sexual encounter with Andrew.

The King’s younger brother features a number of times in the “Epstein files”, with another photo appearing to show him touching a fully-clothed woman’s abdomen. The images are undated and it is unclear where they were taken.

Buckingham Palace hiring live-in staff with no experience needed

Buckingham Palace is currently seeking new staff members, with job opportunities boasting “a generous benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and life priorities”. One of the roles is a live-in position, meaning successful applicants will relocate to Royal premises.

While experience “in a similar role would be an advantage”, it’s not a requirement as comprehensive on-site training will be provided. Additional desirable qualities include taking pride in one’s work, enjoying being part of a team, being “happy to get involved”, and being “keen to develop your skills and gain experience within an exceptional team environment”.

Kate issues new cancer message and admits to ‘moments of fear’

The Princess of Wales has spoken of the “importance of hope” amid moments of “fear and exhaustion” for those suffering from cancer. With footage of the future queen’s visit to the Royal Marsden in January last year, her first public engagement after announcing that she had entered remission, she said: “On World Cancer Day, my thoughts are with everyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery.”

Photo of Andrew with arm around Virginia Giuffre is REAL, Ghislaine Maxwell claims in emails

Ghislaine Maxwell claimed the image of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with his arm around his accusers waist is real, in a shock new statement in the Epstein files.

The former-prince has long denied the image, allegedly taken of him and Virginia Giuffre at a London home, was authentic. Despite this, emails from the three million pages of documents released by the US government show Maxwell “stating for the record as fact” that she introduced Andrew to the 17-year-old and that the photo was taken at her home the same evening, in 2001.

It comes as the police confirmed last night they will review the latest claims brought forward against the former prince. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
