SNL torches Harry and Meghan as Royal Family’s trust hits rock bottom: “Keep these two”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just got roasted royally – and not by Buckingham Palace this time. On the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, Colin Jost took aim at the exiled royals during his “Weekend Update” segment, delivering a zinger that left audiences howling.

“President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the UK that will reopen British markets for American companies,” Jost said, before twisting the knife: “All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two,” as a photo of Harry and Meghan flashed on screen.

Ouch.

The jab comes amid fresh reports that Prince Harry has been completely blackballed by the Royal Family. Sources told Page Six that trust between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royals has completely eroded.

“They don’t trust him and Meghan and that’s why they can’t have a relationship,” one insider claimed. “Maybe there’s room to forgive, but they won’t forget. Forgiveness and trust are two different things.”

Harry and Meghan at the Beyoncé concert

But while the Windsors may be icing them out, Harry and Meghan didn’t seem too bothered this weekend.

Just one night before the SNL roast, the couple packed on the PDA during Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour stop in Los Angeles. Meghan, 43, even shared an Instagram recap of their glammed-up date night, complete with a sweet video of Harry planting a kiss on her cheek.

Fans also got a peek at Harry’s western-inspired outfit, including a forest green hat embroidered with the names of their children“Archie, Lili, My Love” – and stitched with American, Californian, and British flag emblems.

The Sussexes are in the spotlight

The former royals, who famously stepped down from their duties in 2020 and relocated to California, now live in a $14 million Montecito mansion with their two kids. And while the Palace may be ghosting them, the spotlight isn’t going anywhere – especially with SNL throwing gasoline on the fire.

Will the Sussexes clap back? Or are they too busy living their best post-royal lives in Hollywood?
