GLAMOUR’s Exclusive Sephora Advent Calendar 2025 Reveal

During every Christmas party season, I find myself rethinking my approach to beauty. Experimenting. Wearing colour. Wearing glitter – and levelling-up when it comes to restorative skincare to help my complexion recover. The best beauty advent calendars are there to help this process along with every trip around the sun, serving curated selections of everything cult and trending in the worlds of makeup, skincare, fragrance, haircare and body.

The Sephora advent calendar is, without a doubt, always my personal favourite. It has sold out for the past three years – and to kickstart your week nicely, GLAMOUR can exclusively reveal five of the products you’re going to find in this year’s offering.

Before we do, let’s cast our minds back to the Sephora advent calendar 2024 – for the purpose of setting the scene. It launched in early September – or, at least, pre-sales did – and it featured full-size beauty staples from brands like MAC, Drunk Elephant, Medik8, and Rare Beauty. It quickly became one of the years’ most sought-after alternative advent calendars, selling out before most others and being followed up by two (!) further releases. Of course, these sold out too.

This year, Sephora has gone bigger. Never-before-featured brands are making appearance, there are more products included than ever before, and so many full sizes and exclusives. Here’s everything you need to know.

How we test the Sephora Advent Calendar:

Denise Primbet opening and reviewing the Sephora Advent Calendar 2024.

I’ve been reviewing advent calendars for GLAMOUR for the past six years – and for a further two years at other publications. The time I started testing beauty advent calendars was when the market really began burgeoning – so rest assured that I know a thing or two about which calendars are actually worth your money. I’m not in the game of trying to selling you something that won’t please you.

When the Sephora Advent Calendar landed on my desk earlier this year, I teamed up with GLAMOUR’s other beauty editors and writers to open every single drawer. You can imagine how excited the office was.

Collectively, we judged the calendar against the other releases we’d already seen, scoring against the packaging (we loved that the Sephora advent calendar is totally recyclable, for example – but thought it could look a little more expensive), value for money, number of products, number of full size products and exclusives (this year’s Sephora advent calendar scored well in both spaces) and how much the team cared about the brands included. While we can’t yet share a sneak peak of this years calendar, you can see us testing the Sephora Advent Calendar 2024 in the video above.

What’s inside the Sephora advent calendar 2025?

After its big British launch in 2022, Sephora quickly became the nation’s go-to destinations for all things beauty – housing exclusive brands such as Makeup By Mario, ONE/SIZE, Tarte, ILIA, and, of course, the retailer’s own line, Sephora Collection. All of which were pretty tricky to get your hands on before. So, we were always pretty confident that the contents of any of their advent calendars would be truly top-tier.
