Finnish State Visit to The Netherlands

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands are hosting Finnish President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb on a two-day State Visit to The Netherlands on December 11th and 12th.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima officially welcomed President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb outside the Royal Palace on Dam Square in Amsterdam, followed by a Luncheon inside the Royal Palace.

After an inspection of the guard of honour, the President laid a wreath at the National Monument on Dam Square. Later, the King and Queen joined the President and First Lady to visit the Amsterdam Drone Lab before a briefing on the training and education options offered by the Ministry of Defense and meeting representatives of various Dutch and Finnish companies to discuss trade opportunities.

The Princess of Orange joined King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands as they hosted a State Banquet in honour of President Alexander Stubb and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Both the King and President gave speeches.

King Willem-Alexander wore White Tie with the Order of the White Rose of Finland. Queen Máxima repeated a Jan Taminiau gown with the Württemberg Ornate Pearl Tiara and the Order of the White Rose of Finland.

The Princess of Orange wore the Dutch Diamond Bandeau and Queen Emma’s Diamond Stomacher Pendant and the Order of the White Rose of Finland.
