The Selangor Royal Family celebrated the Wedding of Tengku Amir Shah, the Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Selangor and Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz at the Istana Alam Shah in Klang on October 22nd, after an Islamic Wedding Ceremony earlier this month.
Tengku Amir Shah, the Raja Muda of Selangor and Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz had an Istiadat Persandingan Diraja in the Balairung Seri of the Istana Alam Shah in Klang.
This Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, the Tengku Permaisuri (Queen) of Selangor began the ceremonies, followed by other members of both the bride and groom’s families.
The Sultan of Selangor and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor agreed to begin the sprinkling ceremony for the two brides.
The sprinkling ceremony was then continued by the mother of the Raja Muda of Selangor, Puan Nurlisa Idris Abdullah, followed by the bride’s parents.
The ceremony was then concluded with a prayer by Selangor Mufti Datuk Anhar Opir to seek blessings from Allah before continuing with the Royal Banquet at the Royal Banquet Hall.
Crown Princes Afzaa Fadini wore the Selangor Diamond Crescent Tiara.
The Raja Muda of Selangor married Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz in an Islamic Ceremony in the Royal Palace Mosque of the Istana Alam Shah on October 2nd.
During the ceremony, Tengku Amir Shah presented a tray containing a ring as the mas kahwin (dowry) and a copy of the Quran to Afzaa Fadini.
The wedding ceremony was conducted in full order according to tradition and witnessed by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.
Also present at the private ceremony were members of the Selangor Royal Family, the bride’s family, and close friends from both sides
